Written by fucGeico on November 29, 2011 from cicero, illinois, US I got insurance from geico on Sep 17th and notified my agent at that time that I needed an sr22 form sent in which they said wouldn't be a problem. My license got suspended on sep22nd bc the form was never received by the secretary of states office. I understand "geico can't electronically notify Springfield about the sr22 form and that it takes about a month for springfield to put sr22 form in the system when sent through the mail" but I didnt get put into handcufs unill Nov22. Come to find out the sr22 form was never sent to Springfield at which time I got a ride to Chicago to pick up the form myself and physically take it to the secretary of states office. It was my insurance agents responsibility to of sent the sr22 form to springfield. I'm paying them almost $100 each month to do this kind of stuff! I hope that helps your ignorance erika90121. |

Written by erika90121 on November 29, 2011 from brandon, florida, US The only form a geico rep would need to fill out that has anything to do with a license suspension is an sr22 form, which your license would have already been suspended to need one. The other possibility is, you got in an accident and had was given a form by the police to fill out and send as proof of insurance to the state or the state would suspend your license and you may have brought it to geico to have them fill out. which it's YOUR responsibility, not your insurance company's. so..... bottom line is, YOU pboably Effed this up, not geico ![]() |
