geico came to the ford dealership where my car was bought and serviced they inspected my wheel damage and suspension and told me that the dealer could not fix my problem i had to go to there authorized body shop ,i took it to the non English speaking body shop where i had to wait 1 hour for manager to come back that spoke English and he told me he pays the geico rep money to steer work to his shop,i brought my car back to ford dealer and will never buy GEICO INSURANCE EVER. | 3. Written by SheaLo on January 17, 2012 from salem, massachusetts, US OMG! Geico is the worst. Several years ago, my car was hit while parked in a parking lot. The woman who hit my car had Geico insurance. The rep told me that the woman who hit my car lost control because of defective cruise control and the claim was being delayed so they could research who would be responsible for the repairs, them or the auto manufacturer. Long story short, I ended up calling my own insurance agent and asking questions about the unreasonable claim delay, and found out the vehicle that hit my car didn't even have cruise control! The agent was able to tell by the VIN number. What a bunch of liars they are! I'm fairly certain other companies pull similar shenanigans. They're all in the business of getting people to pay as much as possible while they fight to make sure they pay out as little as possible. I'm so happy to have found this site so we as consumers can share experiences like this. Maybe it'll prove to be the thing that forces companies to be more honest eventually. |
