My car was stolen and only had a few damages to the car. The steering column and ignition were busted, the key hole on the driver's side was busted, the window panel on the driver's side door was busted. The front axle was broke and there was damage to the front driver's side and passenger side. My car was brought to Tony's Garage in New Haven, CT. on Kimberly Ave. I gave them deposit money to get started on the vehicle. They verified the damage done to the car stated above. The garage gave me the run around and continued to say they were working on the car and waiting for parts. I admit the car sat there for a while however only due to the guys at Tony's reporting the car was getting worked on and they were waiting for parts to come in. So one day I called to check the status of my car and they reported it was fixed and I could come and pick up my car". I had a co-worker take me to get my car, yet I asked to check the car before I paid the balance/. Good thing I did because the car ended up being in worst shape than what it was when it arrived there.. The owner tried to get into a fight with me because I told them how I felt about my car being damaged, worst than when it got there|. I called Geico to have someone come and look at the car?. The car had 2 missing pistons from the engine, driver's door panel was removed and on the driver seat, the glove compartment was removed and on the passenger seat, the rear seat was removed and not in place, the hood of the car was up when I arrived to the car so there were leaves & branches all over the car parts under the hood/. The driver's side view mirror was completely off and missing/. I originally paid $500 for Tony's to start work on my car from the initial damages.. Now Geico came out and sent me a report stating the additional damage to the car was below my deductible! Are you kidding me!?! I complained about the assessment and Geico had someone come out and conduct an investigation...on me!!!!! I was honest and reported everything that was going on and Geico said there is nothing they can do due to them feeling the damages were below my deductible of $500 and I was on my own. I asked for support because the garage was not going to do anything to the car and told me to my face "the car is junk, you should junk it, it's crap". I reported everything to Geico under the belief they would be there as my auto insurance company, yet they left me high and dry. They had negative attitudes and still to this day will do nothing for me. No other place will take my car until Geico speaks to them however Geico will do nothing!! I'm very close to filing a lawsuit against Geico & Tony's garage. 127caa1

I just read another incidence of Geico not paying claims. Is that the job of the adjuster; to avoid paying claims? It seems so
