I have had geico for years they were great as long as they did not have to pay, The first time a accident was my fault after about 8 years of having them they canaelled my policy. They made seem we had had a bunch of claims but the truth is they nevver paid a dime because it was never my fault. they claim windshield cracks as claims. we have new cars and thought that the repair was prentive maintiance until later. i think now they are a scam as long as you pay us and never use it they are happy but file a claim and the game changes. 127cb15

Written by Bilaali on February 16, 2012 from washington, district of columbia, US They cancelled my insurance after 5 yrs of no claims, then I had my first accident in New York (which is a no fault state, meaning the cops just take both person's statement and writes a report). Geico told me they were gonna go after the other insurance company but later cancelled my insurance with no proper warning. I found out when my payment was returned. |

One accident that was my son's fault and I was dropped "one step down from preferred", which almost DOUBLED my premium. - even after I had my son's license surrendered. Pretty disappointing, indeed. |
