I had my car stolen in San Diego in 2006. I had to make two more payments on my Audi S4 because it took
Geico over 75 days to process my claim and they drug it out for so long for obvious reasons.I asked my claims manager for a list of items they would need to process the claim however, he refused to supply such a list and would ask me for this and that over the course of that 75 days. They finally paid off my loan $4K short leaving me holding the bag costing me over $8K. Yeah, since they drug it out, my 30 days of rental reimbursement also ran out and they refused to pay. So the commercial you see currently on TV with the sound effects guy from the Police Academy movie and the real
Geico customer is a joke. They should have their rear ends sued for
false advertisement. 9 Billion in revenues and they stick it to me. Nice! I suggest going somewhere else for insurance like
Farmers or Esurance. They at leats are ethical and tell the truth.

you got paid less because you were upside down in your loan. in so cal audis tend to be sold at dealers for more then even the factory price and they give horrible loan terms.

You had a lot of fraud indicators so they were trying to catch you in a lie...
You should have bought gap insurance, but I guess $300 is too expensive to pay up front, especially if it saves you 8 grand in the long run...
