Twice I have had that were not my fault and twice giego paid the other driver so fast not even considering my side of story. the reason is that they want to gain the other driver business, and to gain reputation that they settle fast, HOW EVER THEY BOTH TIMES they doubled my premuim for more than 3 years. both of the accidents were very cheap to settle like few hundreds to fix damage however they end up collecting more premuim from me than what they have paid, not only it wasn;t my fault and they intentionally didn't listen but they caused me to pay them more while they market their reputation on my account. I am about to pay double again on my renewal on an accident that was not my fault, even a policeman said that.
Giego is a a scam, they have the worse claim workers ever seen, some women who would hardly listen to you, they are bunch of ----- a word I don't much use.
DONT GET SNARED WITH THEIR START UP RATES!
even if the accident is not your fault it will take them for ever and your case will be going from one department to another. One time they were double billed I had collected the money for them they were so not aware to know. T 127d347

| 2. Written by not my experience on September 11, 2008 from andover, massachusetts, US I was in 2 accidents this year, the first in February, I was rear ended during rush hour traffic, not much damage to my car. I didn't even bother to file a claim. However I was the last one hit in a chain reaction. the other THREE cars involved had damage (the driver of the middle car actually asked me why *I* stopped, I told him bc the car in FRONT of ME stopped and *I* didn't HIT THEM!!!! ) Yeah it took a month or so and I had to repeat the same story FOUR times (one to each insurance company , what are the odds we ALL had different insurance co.'s??) In Maryland Whoever is in the last car is the one responsible for rear end collisions......... I know this for a FACT b/c I was the last one to hit on a very short on ramp. and guess what ??? my rates REALLY didn't go up then either?? But no changes in my premium (renewal was the next month) THEN in July I was crossing an intersection and was sideswiped by someone coming off a ramp. The Police Officer AND the insurance adjuster BOTH said that if it were another state it would be 100% her fault. however in MD, She had the flashing YELLOW light, (and was NOT on the ramp when I crossed) and *I* had the flashing RED light.........but although TECHNICALLY it could have been deemed MY fault (AND the FIRST agent I talked to said it was totally the other woman's fault , but when I called again the next day they said since no one was charged and we were in MD, if we went to court it would be ruled MY fault and I would have THOSE costs and court costs to pay.) They paid the claim, I actually only had liability insurance so I was REALLY screwed as my car was not drivable until I had $$ to get the parts and get it repaird AND I didn't have rental car on it. I added that and my rates only went up about $100. and that is because I doubled my coverage. (and that is $100 or the 6 month premium) I am guessing that it all depends on your total driving record not really ONE accident. |

| 4. Written by Grim on September 11, 2008 from san diego, california, US Blame the state you live in. Such as California and other states, if you read-end someone, it's your fault regardless of the circumstances. You're obviously a slow-witted sexist redneck from your comments about their women employees (I'm a guy, incase you're wondering). |
