| 1. Written by JASON SAVAGE - GEICO "INVESTIG, on 01-11-2008 20:58 Someone hit my SUV while it was parked and unoccupied on 7/11/2008. Then on 8/25/2008 where I live - Memphis TN- We had torrential rain fall that flooded large areas across the city and I was caught in a flooded areas 2 times as I tried to get back to my house and the SUV was flooded- Then on 9/4/2008 a lady hit me head on and totaled my vehicle-None of the events being my fault whatsoever. The first accident repairs were done through their "partner" AUTOBODY AMERICA and it looked like a 3 year old fixed the bodywork and a group of Vandals painted the truck! While in the shop (or in route to) alot of my personal belongings were conveniently taken and when it flooded I called to let them know of the occurrence and told them under NO circumstances did I want GEICO to have anyone do anything to the vehicle, due to the previous events. Then a GEEK- Jason Savage from their investigation unit calls and said I was under investigation because of all of the events! LOL. I have canceled them and got REAL INSURANCE! I would recommend NOBODY insure through them. The are good at taking payments, but suck when it comes to service. I am reporting them and their partners to the Tennessee Insurance Commission and suing GEICO in small claims where we are very fortunate in Tennessee to have a limit of $25,000.00 I RECOMMEND INSURING ELSEWHERE IF YOU WANT SERVICE! | 2. Written by juli, on 22-10-2008 17:33 I am too very unhappy with my Gieco adjuster. I pulled out to move back in parking lot -I was stopped and a car back tire grazed my bumper.She took off and saw me 5 days later to want me to pay for a very small paint chip mark. I called Gieco to cover myself so she could not make it worser then it was-there was no witmesses and police report and she left. She even called gieco to tell them that I wanted to pay it out of my pocket. She had an accident the week before on the same car and wanted me to pay for it. Gieco went ahead and filed a claim and said it was my fault and sent them a check for more money then they wanted. I had a perfact driving record my whole life- I have a CDL lisence and they marked my good record for a very small paint chip ( no dent) something a Grocery cart could had done. And I was standing still and she swiped me cause she was on the cell phone. |
