Crash and failed to help me

I failed to get my new car inspected and so lost much of my policy coverage automatically. The company simply sent an email and forgot about it, as did I. I then got in a crash and the company has been slow to help and has told me they wont assist me in a rental or covering the cost for my vehicle. Poor service.

Ethnic discrimination in your TV commercials

Your home insurance TV ad describing a pipe problem is discriminatory, embarrassing and insulting to the thirty million Americans who identify themselves as Scottish American, 10% of the US population. Your persistent shaming practices of various ethnic groups in your advertising predates the 1960 Civil Rights movement. More than 1/3 of US presidents are identified as Scottish/Irish. I am asking you to cease this practice and remove this disgusting commercial. Thank you.

Canceled my policy without consulting me !!!!!

Geico mailed a letter to my address which was returned by the post office. Why, I don't know coz I am still in the same address ! Went back and forth with them coz they wanted proof of address. Their customer service agents are clueless and annoying coz they have no idea what they are doing.

Horrible Business Practices

I was a loyal customer. I mailed my check in December and my policy was due on 12/26. The check was withdrawn from my account on 1/12. I happen to call to get a quote on a new car and found out I was uninsured. NO call, no email, they claimed to send a letter I never got. They then told me that the check was going to be sent back and that it had been requested that morning. NO check yet. They said they would reissue my monies but due to the gap it would cost an additional $1550 for 6 months. ROBBERY AND THIEVES. I made my payments all through COVID-19. They didn't care. I URGE EVERYONE TO NOT CONSIDER USING GEICO. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND PRACTICES.D

Not honoring a rental car until my car is fixed that was not my fault!

MY CAR IS TAKING LONGER THAN EXPECTED NOT AT ANY FAULT OF MINE, AND THEY WILL NOT APPROVE THE RENTAL CAR ANY LONGER BECAUSE THEY SAY IT'S BEEN LONGER THAN EXPECTED AND DO NOT WANT TO HELP ME ANY LONGER PER SUPERVISOR TAYLOR WHICH HAS BEEN VERY UN HELPFUL IN MAKING SURE I AM PUT BACK FULL FROM THEIR INSURED HITTING ME!! If you have any other choices do not get insurance through GEICO as they are not what they advertise saying they are there for the customer because that is a lie, and they are not being there for me!!!

User's recommendation: I would NOT recommend Geico to anyone as they do not care about the insured only their own, and because we are in a pandemic and things take a little longer Geico wants to pull the rental car away from me leaving me with no car to be able.

Rails to pay claims had to use their insured party!!!

Sent letter of demand to the party that caused the accident and of course no reply after they received it.

NO communication from Geico. Lawsuit is proceeding against the party that caused the accident. Geico adds states that its easy to file a claim and it is but what they don't tell you is they aren't going to pay the claim.THE WORST INSURANCE COMPANY OUT THERE!!!!!!!

LikeA person ran in to my car in October 2020 and received a ticket for the crash and Geico has failed to repair my vehicle causing more damage to It for letting it sit. All my other insurance companies have told me Geico will jerk you around until you give up so I am suing the girl that hit me in court. If you want to be sued use that *** Geico and see what they put you through.

Useless

Had accident. Car totaled. Somebody will call between 8 and ten in the morning. 1:00 and still nothing. Try to send accident report through app, can't accept at this time. Try later. Later same thing. Over TWENTY calls to their claims person, Dorothy Moore. Get voice message and she won't call me back. I was injured with no way to get to the hospital. CAR TOTALED. I have no way to get to work. CAR TOTALED. AND GEICO WON'T EVEN TALK TO ME. I thought my last insurance company was useless but they actually answered the phone and showed me the courtesy if talking to me. Geico refuses!

Geico insurance company sucks your dropping me next month after 3 plus years always paid my monthly bill on time 6 months ago you raised my rates over minor fender bender less than $1000 damage Im Marine Corp veteran your idiot agents wouldnt give any discounts all I hear in Geico commercials discounts for veterans, well I have reached out to my friends family and many veterans to drop Geico and go with USSA Insurance who stands by there veterans and customers. Already reached out to the VA I told them the way I was treated with Geico there going to notify all veterans who have Geico to drop them and go with USSA Insurance. Thank You for nothing. Pissed Off Customer

Billing issues

Miserable billing practices. They lost track of our last two payments. Bank statements showed that the payments had cleared the bank but GEICO didn't process the payment internally in a timely manner. We have been customers for 20 years. When you have to stress about your insurance coverage, you need to find another insurance company. That's exactly what we are going to do.

User's recommendation: It feels like GEICO is losing their qualitative edge either through bad personnel practices (COVID or contracting out services) or they have bad internal management. It's too easy to take your business elsewhere.

We had 5 vehicles insured with Geico, in May of 2018 one was damaged by a deer, rather than repair the car, Geico totaled it for $750 still very drivable and safe...So we reduced the coverage to just liability, in December of 2020, I discovered they had been charging...

Idk why this heading is pissed customer. I was never pissed. I canceled my policy because I found a better rate elsewhere.

Totally dissatisfied with this company.

This is only the 6th day of this year and I have spoken or at least tried to speak with an agent at Geico insurance. I was able to get an agent when I actually set up the Auto policy but since then I get 20 minute long waits or I get transferred and left on the line forever. I am authorized to speak to the policy that is for my grandson but each agent tells me they have to speak to him. The original agent put the mobile number in wrong so I can't complete the mobile app so I can get the discounts. An agent named Kisha(Chicago) told me she wwould call me back at 4:30 never called. This carousel ride has been very frustrating and disappointing. I'm looking somewhere else.
