Bad management

I was calling about key stuck in ignition on 11/8/18 around and was told several different things. At first I was told hey will pay up to $100 dollars to help me get key out then told me can’t help me at all. The manger Chris I was on the phone with was very rude and talking over me and was not allowing me to get a word out. Threatened to hang up on me after I cursed in frustration of not being ar to get a word out

Awesome insurance

I switched to geico because I would save money. However I was always afraid of you get what you paid for. My daughter who is 21 got into an accident a couple weeks back due to bad weather conditions. They were amazing. She was very shook up and her car was totaled. She thank his was alright. Geico has a rental waiting for her within an hour if the accident. The next day they had someone estimate the damage and they had the amount they were totaling the car fir within two days. They even gave her more then we expected towards her usedcst loan. I have never had such a great experience with an insurance company. I thank gif every day I left liberty mutual.

You are the exception to the statement of "GEICO treats their customers like robbery victims. I sincerely hope you continue to have a good experience with them.

But I recommend you read some of their reviews, which can be found on many different comparison sites.

You will see that it is only a matter of time before you are bent over and given treatment inmates receive in prison shower rooms. This company is despicable!

Sounds like you had an inordinate number of claims and, as a result Geico decided you were too much of a drag/risk and wanted to cancel. They agreed to retain you but wanted more to insure you---because of the claims.

Nothing unreasonable about this at all. However, be aware that Geico is not necessarily the best nor the cheapest insurance company out there.

Do some comparisons with other insurance companies and go from there. The other companies will be aware of your claims with Geico, however and this will affect your insurance rates with them, too.
