GEICO - Don't ever get a consultation about Uber coverage! They will cncel you on the mere conversation!!
Seriously, 6 mos. ago I called into Gieco to speak with a rep about our insurance coverage and my son considering Uber driving.
After we spoke, I counseled my son Not to do it and so he didn't. Today, I opened my mail to a letter cancelling our insurance! I called my son and asked if or when he drove for Uber and he said never. Gieco has advised me in that 6 month old conversation the notes said my son was going to be a Uber driver and therefore we are cancelled.
I challenged them on Why in the world if we were going to cheat would we have called in and consulted with them about coverage? after 13 years, "underwritting" final decision is made. They have NO proof, No nothing, except Me calling them to ask if we would be covered.
This is such a shock ! I used to think Gieco was the absolute best, but this is not the same company!!!!!
