In review of complaints about Geico it's true they have been acting strange lately and not care for their customers and lie to them to make money only when there is a claim they are trying to not pay and blaming on insurer's fault do not be surprised when they tell u that u are doing fraud blaming u for their fraud. I had an incident on 01/12/2021 something hit my car and damaged driver side quarter panel and 2 doors of my car I called and reported it without knowing what hit it while I was on the phone with claims at Geico someone knocked on my door I opened and the person said he was what happened and I stopped him from continuing and told that a witness wants to tell u what happened so he spoke with Geico claims rep.

And explained what he saw something tell from a truck and hit my parked car they took the claim and said Geico will send the adjuster to investigate and come up with reduction next day no one came which I had left at the mechanic next to where I work finally they called the mechanic to ask him to do the job of Geico and take pictures and evaluate the incident finally Geico says it's a total loss and that they are going to pay for it. So I called several times to find out when it would be paid for all of a sudden Geico said they are investigating the claim after they said its total loss they asked me to see the car that they already saw and based on what they saw they said its total loss how can u say it's total loss and by examining if they did and found its total loss you come back and say we are going to look at the car again and find out a out it does not make any sense and it's not normal for any company to act like this they said they are going to send in an independent expert investigator to check for the damage and make their decision based on that investigator which is hired by them so they did send and after 2 months of waiting for a job I or anyone can do they Sent me a letter stating that the damage is not from the object that fell and hit my car as my witness witnessed Geico said it was another car sideswiped involving another vehicle and they have said that I have lied and their has been misrepresentation and fraud and they are denying claim so I do not know how is this my misrepresentation of I have a witness telling Geico what he saw and how it became my fault and my misrepresentation I am confused if Geico cannot tell what a witness is or what a witness saw and if they did not investigate and said they did but they didn't for the beginning they lied and said they investigated and found to be total loss and then going back and investigating again does not make sense and this is unprofessional and lies and blaming on customer is unbelievable accusing the owner for misrepresentation is absurd weird and abnormal Geico should get it's act together and honest with insurer's and do not accuse insurer for their own mistakes and their own misrepresentation I have seen a of complaints posted similar to mine this is what everyone calls fraud and lies to the customer so Geico do not pay for legitimate claim like mine it's a shame

User's recommendation: Public should be very carefully examine Geico before they buy ins. From them.
