I have a 2012 Nissan Rogue SL with 80,000 miles on it. Kelly Blue Book says after being repaired from $11,500 in damage from my accident it is worth $13,000 to $15,000.

Geico says its worth 23,000 to keep from totaling it. They also put all aftermarket parts on the car to keep the cost down. I wanted OEM but I was refused that option saying I would have to pay the difference even if it were over 75%. 75% is the total requirement of damage to be valued as a total loss.

My previous insurance companies gave me the option for aftermarket or OEM. AllState totaled my previous car at 65 % instead of 75%.

Maybe I deserve this after buying cheap rate insurance. I wish I could go back and stay with Allstate or Statefarm.

Monetary Loss: $14000.

Location: Mount Sterling, Kentucky
