I paid in full 658.00 for a 6 month policy in February. I moved from Louisiana to New Mexico for work.

Contacted Geico and updated my address. Woohoo, insurance is cheaper here so I have a refund of 148.00. That lasted 2.9 minutes. Geico cancelled my policy and made a new policy for New Mexico.

The total of the policy is 509. The initial payment of 658 didn't cover 62.00 of the "new policy", so I owe them 62.12. Found another insurance policy for 275.00 for 6 months.

Called Geico to cancel my policy and I am due a refund of 319.00. When I questioned why I was being charged 190.00 for 2 days worth of insurance and I was told, "that's just how it is"........what a bunch of crooks.
